Black metal band Diva Satanica commissioned me to illustrate their second album and create their logo, based on events of World War II. I suggested doing something in the style of the classic Iron Maiden and Motorhead covers, an iconic character that fans are going to connect with and that will look amazing on T-shirts and posters. The band agreed, which led to me coming up with the Nazi zombie character and classic metal direction for the typography. One of my faves!
